Serving in the Tennessee State Legislature has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Over this past session, we’ve turned promises into progress:
✅ State funding (68 million) for expanding HWY 237 (Rossview to Kirkwood) to four lanes
✅ Two new hospitals and signed onto repealing the burdensome Certificate of Need law
✅ Education Freedom & School Choice
✅ Securing our Borders & Standing for Public Safety
I’m proud to have sponsored and passed legislation that:
- Led the nation by dismantling DEI-based hiring in favor of Merit-Based Hiring—making Tennessee the first state to take this bold step HB 622 HB 923
- Expanded Montgomery County’s Veterans Treatment Courts HB 524
- Created legal presumptions for Law Enforcement and EMS battling PTSD HB 310
- Mandated curriculum on Internet, Social Media, and Artificial Intelligence safety in our schools HB 825 – Recognized nationally by the American Legislative Exchange Council as the model policy for the nation.
- Just to name a few … as I passed a total of eight bills and
had the 6th best bill passage record in the State House in 2025.
